A small fire broke out Tuesday in an office on the property of the Massachusetts Audubon Society.
Two buildings were evacuated after employees smelled smoke.
The property is located on Codman Rd. in Lincoln.
A second-alarm was called becasue the structure is an old, historic building with a slate roof, but the flames were quickly put out.
Codman Rd. had been closed from Route 117 to Lincoln Rd., but has since reopened.
No one was injured; the cause is under investigation.
