Firefighters Rescue Man From Roof of Burning Building

Fire crews in Lowell, Massachusetts, rescued a man from the roof of a burning building Wednesday morning.

A fast-moving two-alarm fire broke out on the second floor of the building at 16 Grove St., which has since been put out.

The man rescued from the roof lived in the attic apartment.

"I didn't jump. They got me a ladder because they saw me yelling," he told necn. He did not want to be identified.

Eight people have been displaced as a result of the fire.

There were no reported injuries.
