Police are trying to figure out who left a graffiti swastika near Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts.
School officials say it was outlined in condensation on a window at a home where several students live off-campus.
The incident happened Friday, when an unofficial event hosted by a Jewish group was being held.
The university's interim president released a statement saying in part, "There is no place in society for such a despicable display of intolerance and hatred. Such heinous acts violate every value for which Brandeis stands."
