Boston police are welcoming a new member in their ranks, but he needs a name first!
BPD welcomed a 9-week-old Belgian Shepherd male into its K-9 unit.
The puppy is being groomed for patrol and explosive ordinance detection.
Boston police K9 trainer Troy Caisey says names should be strong, commanding and no more than two syllables, so names like Solo, Hawk and Tuco work.
