The holiday travel rush is getting underway Wednesday morning as millions of Americans are traveling across the country.

One passenger said the line was unexpected. He said, "We thought we came early. This is the longest I've ever seen it."

The TSA is saying this is the start of what is anticipated to be the busiest travel season ever.

A TSA spokesperson tells necn they expect an estimated 60,000 people to pass through the security checkpoint at Logan Airport Wednesday.

The TSA recommends arriving early to or airport, know what's in your bag and prepare to go through thr security checkpoint.
