Officials in Lynnfield, Massachusetts, are fighting to prevent the homeowner of a house where a person was fatally shot last month, from renting out the house on a short-term home rental site.
According to Itemlive.com, the home at 8 Needham Road is still on Airbnb, despite a cease and desist order.
Keivan Heath, 33, was shot several times at a house party being held at the home. A suspect has not been arrested.
Homeowner Alex Styller says he rented the property out for what he was told would be a college reunion attended by about two dozen people. Police say as many as 100 people were at the party.
Styller can appeal to the Zoning Board of Appeals or apply for a special permit.
