Child Injured in School Bus Crash

The driver was also injured

A Boston Public Schools bus carrying five young students hit a utility pole in Brookline, Massachusetts on Monday morning.

One student was injured and sent to Boston's Children's Hospital with minor injuries. The driver also suffered minor injuries and was transported to Beth Israel Hospital.

Police said the call for the crash was received around 8 a.m. The students attend a public school in Boston's Brighton neighborhood.

A second bus was dispatched to pick up the students. One parent also arrived at the scene to take their child.
