A 4-month-old Massachusetts boy's death is under investigation, authorities announced Monday.
Chelsea police and the Suffolk district attorney say a family member found the child unresponsive in their Washington Avenue apartment around noon, and the boy was taken to Whidden Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
A preliminary examination of the infant's body did not show immediate signs of violent trauma and foul play isn't suspected, according to the DA; however, an autopsy will be conducted.
The name of the child has not been released.
