Leominster High Mourns the Loss of a Young Teacher

Michele Oshman died after suffering a stroke

Faculty and students at Leominster High School are mourning the sudden death of a young and dedicated teacher.

History and economics teacher Michele Oshman died Sunday at UMass Medical Center in Worcester after suffering a stroke. She was 32.

Fellow teacher Andrea Grimes tells The Sentinel & Enterprise (http://bit.ly/1QCHELX ) that Oshman was "bubbly, always positive," and didn't have any negative qualities.

Leominster High junior Francesa Gitto says Oshman always put her students first.

Senior Jordan Paskell says Oshman was always willing to stay late to help a student in need.

Oshman, formerly Michele Bock, grew up in Enfield, Connecticut, but more recently lived in Millbury. She is survived by her husband, a daughter and her parents.
