The Thacher family lost the girl's stuffed animal in Terminal B at Boston's Logan Airport

A Massachusetts family asked for help on social media on Sunday in locating a child's lost toy.

The mom, Erica Fletcher, posted on Twitter that her daughter lost her favorite stuffed animal in Terminal B at Boston's Logan Airport.

The tweet, which had been retweeted more than 8,995 times as of 10:30 p.m. Sunday night, said, "We lost our daughter's lifetime favorite toy today in Terminal B of Boston Logan, this adorable pink baby giraffe. Daughter is heartbroken. Name tag sticker says Thacher. If found, pls contact me!"

The family was between the sidewalk and the American Airlines check-in area when the stuffed animal went missing.

The giraffe's name is Hornzy Twigs, according to the mom who reported the stuffed animal to the airport's lost and found.

The little girl drew a sketch of her beloved stuffed animal, of which her mom also shared on Twitter.
