Police in Easthampton, Massachusetts, have arrested a man accused of attempting an armed robbery of a convenience store Friday.
Jose Alicea, 30, is accused of attempting to rob the 7-Eleven convenience store located at 97 Union St. He was arrested Sunday night at 10.
The clerk told police that the suspect entered the store, pointed a weapon at the clerk and demanded money.
The suspect then exited the store and fled on foot.
Alicea was held on $5,000 bail and is scheduled to be arraigned Monday at Northampton District Court.
