A Walpole, Massachusetts, man has been ordered to be held on $500,000 cash bail in connection with a fatal crash that police say was also his fourth OUI offense, according to the Suffolk DA's office.
Jeffrey Mason was arraigned in West Roxbury Municipal Court Monday. He is charged in the Hyde Park crash early Sunday morning which killed his passenger, Lillian Grover, 41, of Roslindale.
Mason was transported to Brigham and Women's Hospital for the injuries he sustained in the crash.
The suspect is due back in court Dec. 16.
