Man Accused of Forcing Woman Into Prostitution

Trevor Jones pleaded not guilty last week to charges of deriving support from prostitution

A Massachusetts man who spent seven years in prison for forcing women into prostitution has been arrested at a Danvers hotel on similar charges.

The Salem News reports that 38-year-old Trevor Jones pleaded not guilty last week to charges of deriving support from prostitution. He was held Monday when a judge ruled he was dangerous.

Police arrested Jones after a woman called 911 from a hotel room and said he had forced her to have sex with men over the course of a week.

The victim told police that Jones had exploited her heroin addiction and threatened to kill her and her family.

Jones' lawyer challenged the credibility of the woman's story, suggesting Jones was not involved.

The Lynn man served seven years behind bars following a 2008 conviction.
