A man was arrested for the stabbing of a 19-year-old man who was reported to have "fallen onto some glass" Sunday in Rehoboth, Massachusetts.

Shortly after 1 a.m., authorities responded to a call of a medical emergency at 120 Purchase St., according to Rehoboth police. The caller told police the victim "may have fallen onto glass."

When officials arrived at the scene, they found a 19-year-old man bleeding heavily with stab wounds to his chest and abdomen. The victim was taken to Rhode Island Hospital, where he is in critical condition.
