Man Arrested After Attempting to Storm Boston Mayor's Office

A 300-pound man was subdued by a Boston City Hall employee after the 52-year-old attempted to storm Mayor Martin Walsh's office last month.

The Boston Globe reports Patrick Quinn was charged with trespassing, disorderly conduct and battery for the April 15 incident that has only now come to light.

Authorities say an irate Quinn rushed the receptionist's desk outside Walsh's office and used his stomach to knock the woman backward about 5 feet before he was stopped. Walsh was inside the office in a meeting at the time.

Quinn reportedly grew upset after a mayoral staff member told him his case was being assigned and someone would talk with him soon. Authorities say Quinn is homeless and appeared to be emotionally unstable.

Quinn couldn't be reached for comment.
