A 49-year-old man from Lowell, Massachusetts, was convicted of raping a child in a series of incidents dating back to 2000.
David Homen, who had lived with the child's family, was found guilty on charges of raping a child by force and indecent assault and battery on a child.
The victim was 11 when the abuse began. Authorities say that Homen touched her inappropriately while she slept.
A sentencing hearing for Homen is scheduled for 3 p.m. Monday.
