Man Sought on Drug Charges After Police Discover Marijuana Grow

A man is being sought by police in Massachusetts after authorities allegedly found an elaborate marijuana grow in his apartment.

Thirty-seven-year-old Robert Gibson of 40 Bank St., Apt. 13, in Attleboro is wanted for allegedly growing marijuana and stealing electricity.

Police in Attleboro say they executed a search warrant for the Bank Street apartment just before 9 a.m. Friday after getting information on an illegal grow.

Officers found 26 marijuana plants inside of the apartment, all at various stages of growth, and discovered that Gibson was allegedly stealing electricity from his neighbors to keep the lights on for his grow operation.

Attleboro police add that Gibson is also wanted in New York on similar charges.
