A masked man accused of making a bomb threat on Boston's MBTA was in court on Thursday.
Joe Johnson, 30, was held on $100,000 bail after a court doctor deemed him to be competent.
On Wednesday, Johnson allegedly made a reference to "blowing the train up" between the Downtown Crossing and Tufts Medical Center stops on the Orange Line.
According to the assistant district attorney, this is not Johnson's first offense. He was arrested in August for waving pepper spray at cops while wearing the same mask.
Johnson is due back in court on Oct. 13.
