Marathon Bomber's Friend Robel Phillipos Files Appeal

A friend of the Boston Marathon bomber convicted of lying to investigators last week filed an appeal Friday.

Twenty-one-year-old Robel Phillipos was sentenced to three years for lying to the FBI about being in Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's Umass Dartmouth dorm room after the April 2013 bombings.

Tsarnaev was found guilty and sentenced to death for his role in the bombings that killed three people and injured more than 260 others.
