Thief Wearing Halloween Mask Robs Gas Station at Gunpoint

Authorities are searching for a masked man who allegedly robbed an Easton, Massachusetts, gas station at gunpoint early Monday morning.

Police received a call of the robbery at 5:20 a.m. and responded to New World gas station on Turnpike Street. At the scene, they learned that the robber demanded the gas station employee to empty the cash register at gunpoint.

The masked man took off with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot eastbound on Foundry Street.

The gas station employee was unharmed during the robbery but was taken to an area hospital for evaluation. Officials say the thief wore a rubber Halloween mask and all black clothes.

Officials are continuing their investigation on the robbery.
