A 26-year-old man has been arrested Monday in connection with an armed breaking in a home in Arlington, Massachusetts, police said.
Joseph Dealmeida of Arlington is charged with armed assault, breaking and entering, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Police responded to a call at 11:52 a.m. that a woman is being assaulted by a man with a knife. A witness who was nearby restrained Dealmeida before police arrived.
The victim was not injured.
