A Massachusetts man who was bit by a bull shark off the coast of North Carolina is back in the Bay State after the July 1 attack.
The victim, 67-year-old Andrew Costello of Wareham, says it is good to be home.
"I thank everybody that has helped me," Costello began. "I'm very happy to be home and just would like to spend my time recovering right now."
The shark bit Costello in the rib cage, hip, left leg, and both hands while he was in waist-deep water. He was treated at Vidant Medical Center and was released from the hospital on July 18.
