He had his eyes on the prize...
A Massachusetts man is the first $4 million prize winner in the latest edition of the State Lottery's "100X The Cash" instant game.
Jeffrey Quiles of Lynn has elected to receive his prize in annual payments of $200,000 (before tax withholdings) over 20 years.
He plans to use a portion of his prize to buy an engagement ring for his girlfriend Kelsey Simonian. Quiles also plans on putting some of his winnings toward buying a house and a new car.
His winning ticket was purchased at Lynn Convenience Store on Western Ave. The store will receive a $40,000 bonus for its sale.
The instant game went on sale March 1.
There are four additional $4 million prizes and twelve $1 million prizes still available.
