The agency will fix some built-in flaws that make it tough for the trains to run on time

The MBTA is takings steps to reduce delays on commuter rail lines, according to The Boston Globe.

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Agency said it plans to release new schedules soon that will address built-in flaws that make it difficult, if not impossible, for the trains to run on time. The new schedules will be released later this month, and will go into effect at the end of November.

Departure times aren't expected to be much different from the current ones.
