The MBTA is advising people going to the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade take any Red Line train to South Station, Broadway Station or Andrew Station.
Due to the anticipated large crowds, some services will not run as usual and passengers are being reminded that delays may happen.
Trains will frequently skip Broadway Station, the MBTA says. A shuttle bus will operate from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. from South Station, Summer Street, and East 1st Street.
Starting around 9:45 a.m., all bus routes will stop service to Broadway and Andrew stations, although the stations will be open for subway service.
