A motorist in Falmouth, Massachusetts, sustained life-threatening injuries when his vehicle struck a tree head-on early Sunday morning.
Police responded to the scene at 702 Sandwich Road at 1:26 a.m.
The male victim between 24 and 25 years old was transported by medical helicopter to Rhode Island Hospital with life-threatening injuries. He is considered to be in critical condition.
Police say speed was a factor in the crash.
