Naked Airport Attack Suspect Agrees to Mental Health Evaluation

The man who fell naked through the ceiling of a women's bathroom at Boston's Logan Airport will not appear in court as originally planned on Monday, as he has agreed to undergo a mental health evaluation.

The man who fell naked through the ceiling of a women's bathroom at Boston's Logan Airport will not appear in court as originally planned on Monday, as he has agreed to undergo a mental health evaluation.

Police allege 26-year-old Cameron Shenk undressed and entered a crawl space above the ceiling before he fell through a ceiling tile and ran out of the bathroom, assaulting an 84-year-old man in his path.

Shenk has been held for more than a week. Through counsel, Shenk has agreed to a mental health evaluation, which prosecutors had requested but which the court denied at his Nov. 26 arraignment.

Shenk's lawyer says his client is studying at Harvard Extension School and has no history of mental illness.

His next date in court has not been determined.
