Irene Miller is just weeks away from her 110th birthday and her wish is receive birthday cards to help her celebrate.
WJAR reports the New Bedford, Massachusetts, resident says she feels great, despite some hearing and eyesight troubles.
"I've been lucky all my life. I have no problems," Miller said.
She lives with her grandson and spends weekdays at the Active Day. Reflecting on her life, Miller reminisces on playing hopscotch as a girl and falling in love; she was married for more than 50 years. These days, she enjoys relaxing and eating.
In addition to the birthday cards, Miller has a second, selfless wish.
"People to be happy," the to-be birthday girl said.
