New Driving Record Details of Driver in Fatal Duck Boat Crash

Victor Tavares was driving for Boston Duck Tours when 28-year-old Allison Warmuth was hit and killed while riding her scooter last month.

New details have been released about the speeding infractions of a duck boat driver involved in a deadly crash in Boston.

Victor Tavares was driving for Boston Duck Tours when 28-year-old Allison Warmuth was hit and killed while riding her scooter last month.

Tavares’ driving history included 10 speeding citations and other infractions.

New information from the RMV shows more detail into what those were.

They include a 2013 West Bridgewater incident, when Tavares went 84 MPH in a 65 MPH zone.

Another includes an incident in Stoughton last year when he went 49 MPH in a 30 MPH zone.

Tavares is not facing charges, but Mayor Marty Walsh has called on the company to change the way it looks at driving records.

This accident remains under investigation to determine what happened and if anyone will be held criminally responsible.
