A 29-year-old Massachusetts man is facing numerous charges after police allegedly seized illegal marijuana, several firearms and fireworks from his home, which is close to an elementary school.

Andrew Origilio was arrested by Norwood police on Friday on numerous charges, including four counts of possession with intent to distribute, four counts of drug law violation in a school zone and five counts of possession of a firearm without a license.

Norwood police said they searched Origilio's home at 46 Geraldine Drive, which is behind an elementary school, following an investigation into illegal marijuana sales. Marijuana flower, hash oil, edibles and packages to distribute weed were allegedly found at the home.

About nine firearms, parts to build a machine gun and a large supply of fireworks were also discovered at the home, officials said. Authorities said they also found materials used to build fireworks at the Geraldine Drive house.

Evidence seized from Origilio's home included multiple bags of illegal marijuana, a scale, various firearms, magazines and ammunition, according to photos provided by Norwood police.

Origilio will be arraigned in Dedham District Court on Monday, according to court officials. It's unclear if he has an attorney.

Norwood police say the Norfolk County Police Anti-Crime Task Force helped with its investigation.
