Massachusetts officials are investigating the apparent accidental opioid overdose of a 1-year-old child in Westfield, Massachusetts, according to the Boston Herald.
The child, who is alive, was brought to a hospital Friday night and hospital officials contacted police.
Department of Children and Families officials took the child into custody.
No charges have been filed, but the case is still under investigation.
