Fire officials in the Three Rivers section of Palmer, Massachusetts say one person died early Thursday morning following a fire at a multi-family home.

The fire broke out at a brick home at 9-15 Springfield St. around 2 a.m. where heavy flames were shooting from a third-floor rear porch.
Fire Chief Scott Turner told WWLP-TV there were no additional reports of injuries.
The name of the person who died has not been released.
A total of 11 people live in the building.
The Office of the State Fire Marshal is investigating the exact cause of the fire.
