Safety officials began assessing the damage at the Central House of George H. Mitchell Elementary School on Wednesday. Classes for Bridgewater students below the high school level will be relocated beginning Monday.

  • Children from kindergarten through third grade will be relocated to Bridgewater Middle School, with all schedules remaining the same.
  • Seventh-graders from Bridgewater Middle School will be relocated to Williams Intermediate School. The schedules for the start and end of school, and for bus transportation, will remain the same. A separate lunch schedule will be in effect.
  • Eighth-graders will be relocated to the Bridgewater-Raynham High School. School start and end times and bus transportation will remain on the same schedule, but a separate lunch schedule will be in effect. Class schedules have been set up to prevent interaction between the middle school and high school students.
