A motorist in Haverhill, Massachusetts, was arrested for DUI after he struck a pedestrian early Sunday morning.
Around 12:45 a.m., police responded to Salem Orchard Hill Road for a report of a pedestrian struck.
According to police, the pedestrian was transported to a nearby hospital before being transferred to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The man who hit the pedestrian was charged with DUI. His identity is not immediately available.
