Police: 48 Grams of Crack Cocaine Found in Woman’s Shirt

Police arrest woman in area of Spencer and Harvard streets

Police arrested a Dorchester woman on drug charges early Saturday morning after finding 48 grams of crack cocaine in her shirt.

Sharon Brockington, 47, of Dorchester, was charged with trafficking Class B drugs (cocaine), possession with intent to distribute Class D drugs (marijuana), and receiving stolen property.

Police were investigating possible drug activity in the area of Spencer and Harvard streets at about 1 a.m. when they stopped a car after observing a suspected drug transaction.

Police said they found the crack cocaine and a large bag of a substance believed to be marijuana in Brockington's shirt, as well as about $1,900.
