One person is dead after a dirt bike collided with a police cruiser Wednesday morning in Fall River, Massachusetts.
According to Fall River Police, the crash happened on Montaup and Slade Streets around 1:30 a.m.
The dirt bike that crashed with the cruiser did not have its headlights on.
A person riding a second dirt bike fled the scene.
The operator of the first bike was transported to St. Anne's Hospital, where he passed away. His identity has not been released.
The two officers in the cruiser were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
