Massachusetts authorities are investigating a fatal daytime shooting in Brockton.
The Plymouth County District Attorney's Office says that Brockton Police responded to the report of a robbery with a victim shot around 3:46 p.m. on Rodney Street.
The victim, a 27-year-old man, underwent emergency surgery at Brockton Hospital but was pronounced dead at 6:43 p.m.
