A man died over the weekend after he lost control of his scooter and crashed into an oncoming vehicle in Massachusetts, police confirm.
Fall River police say the crash happened Sunday just after 5 p.m. on South Main and Williams streets.
The scooter's driver was taken to Rhode Island Hospital, where he later died, police confirmed; the driver of the other vehicle involved was not injured.
The name of the scooter's driver has not yet been released.
Police are still investigating the crash, and anyone who saw it is asked to call Fall River police at 508-676-8511 or to call their anonymous tips line at 508-672-TIPS.
