Police in Bourne, Massachusetts, say a police officer will be in court Friday to be arraigned on a disorderly conduct charge for allegedly refusing to leave a bar.
The incident happened Wednesday night at the Trading Post Lounge.
Police say Officer Jeffrey Lanoie, who was off-duty, engaged in an argument with a bar patron and refused police order to leave.
Lanoie is still in employ of the department, but he was already on a scheduled vacation at the time of the incident.
Police say an internal investigation is underway.
