Police say a pedestrian struck by a vehicle in Boston is expected to survive.
The victim was struck near the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Commonwealth Avenue.
Boston Police responded to the call, which came in around 4:15 p.m.
Initially, police said that the victim's injuries appeared to be life-threatening.
An official with Boston EMS confirmed that one patient from had been transported to Brigham & Women's Hospital.
