Boston police say one person was shot Thursday morning in the city's Dorchester neighborhood.
The call came in to police around 10:40 a.m. in at the 500 block of Columbia Road.
The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Police previously said they were responding to a report of two people shot, but later said only one person was shot.
No further details were immediately available.
