UPDATE 1/3/16: A source confirms to necn that the body was that of Dennis Njoroge, a missing Northeastern University student.
Massachusetts State Police said a body was found in the Charles River on Thursday morning.
The body was recovered and state police said it was a male. The determination of identity is ongoing.
The initial report was received around 10 a.m.
The body was reportedly spotted near the Boston side of the river, in the area of the Arthur Fiedler Footbridge.
No further information is being released at this time.
