Dorchester girl resuscitated with CPR

Boston police revived a 4-year-old Dorchester girl who was suffering from uncontrollable seizures and unresponsive at her home Saturday night.

The child's mother called police to her Adams Street home at 8 p.m. saying the child wasn't breathing, police said.

Police officers gave the girl CPR, which resuscitated her breathing. Boston Fire also responded and gave the girl oxygen. Boston EMTs transported her to Boston Children's Hospital, where she was responsive and in good care, police said.
