Authorities at a Massachusetts university are asking for the public's help in finding a sexual assault suspect.
Police say an 18-year-old female student at Bridgewater State University was sexually assaulted Monday night after agreeing to meet an unknown male near the Rondileau Campus Center.
University Vice President Paul Jean says the student was communicating with the suspect through the social networking app kik. The suspect allegedly attacked her after she walked across the the campus to the parking garage.
The suspect is described as about 5-foot, 10-inches tall, older than "college aged," and having a deep voice.
Anyone with information on the assault or the suspect should contact police at 508-531- 1212.
The incident remains under investigation, and campus police are stepping up patrols.
