A pregnant woman linked to a Cape Cod drug gang has been released to her family after entering a not guilty plea.

Eelyese Mateo, 20, of Hyannis pleaded not guilty on Monday to charges of conspiracy to distribute heroin and possession of heroin with intent to distribute, according to the Cape Cod Times.

The newspaper reports Mateo and another pregnant woman, Brooke Cotell, 22, also of Hyannis, are part of the Nauti-Block street gang.

Cotell remains in federal custody at this time.

The Times reports Barnstable, Yarmouth and State Police, along with federal agents, raided more than a dozen homes on April 5 in an attempt to arrest 19 people allegedly involved in the drug organization.
