Authorities say a pregnant woman and her 11-year-old daughter were hospitalized after their sport utility vehicle crashed into a home in Brockton over the weekend.
The Enterprise reports first responders were dispatched to the scene at a multi-family home on Pleasant Street just after 2 p.m. Sunday.
Police say the mother lost control of her Honda SUV and slammed into a stone wall in front of the residence. The impact of the crash shook the building.
The woman, who wasn't identified, told officers at the scene that she had lost control of her brakes. Her vehicle sustained extensive front-end damage.
The two victims were hospitalized after suffering non-life threatening injuries in the accident. Their conditions weren't immediately known.
