A pedestrian in Quincy, Massachusetts, was killed after being struck by an SUV on Sunday evening, according to police.
Police say it happened Sunday just before 11 p.m. near the intersection of Hancock and Squantum streets.
The victim has only been identified so far as a man between 40-60 years of age. He was taken to Boston Medical Center with a serious head injury, where he died.
The driver of the Acura SUV involved in the crash stopped.
Police say the SUV driver was not impaired and wasn't speeding at the time of the crash, and add that it was raining at the time of the crash and that the victim was wearing dark clothing and didn't use a crosswalk.
The investigation is ongoing.
