A national study ranked the MBTA one of the best transportation systems in the national but many riders disagree.
According to Smartassset.com Boston is ranked #3 in the Top 10 cities for public transportation.
The study took into consideration the average commute time for transit users, the percentage difference between the average commute times of car commuters and transit users, the percentage of commuters who use public transit, the total number of commuters, and the difference between the citywide median income and the median income of transit users.
After the study was released the MBTA Twitter account tweeted out the article.
However, many MBTA riders did not agree with the study and took to Twitter to react.
