3 Students Hospitalized Following Crash Involving School Bus, Dump Truck in Randolph

Three students were hospitalized after a school bus carrying 15 high school students was involved in a crash with a dump truck Friday morning in Randolph, Massachusetts.

The crash happened at about 7 a.m. on Route 93 southbound near Exit 5, according to state police. Officials say the dump truck rear-ended a Norfolk County Agricultural High School bus.

The students were taken to South Shore Hospital with minor injuries, state police said.

It is unclear why the dump truck driver rear-ended the bus and authorities have not said if any charges will be filed.

Although there were no lane closures associated with the crash, there was a delay afterward.
