A two-car crash injured three people and sent an Arlington, Massachusetts, public schools SUV crashing into a home in Lexington Thursday afternoon, the Lexington superintendent's office confirms.

Police say no students were injured in the crash that occurred around 12:10 p.m. at the intersection of Lowell Street and Bryant Road.

The Arlington superintendent's office says two bus drivers were on board of the Arlington public schools vehicle. They are two of the three individuals who were transported to a local hospital for minor, non-life-threatening injuries.

When the bus collided into the home, it struck a propane tank and caused a leak. The leak has since been mitigated.

A building inspector is on scene to assess the damage. No one was inside the affected home at 238 Lowell Street at the time of the crash.

Lowell Street will stay closed between Maple and Whipple Streets while authorities investigate, according to the Lexington Fire Department.
